Who We Are

Meet Peter and Lori, two passionate individuals dedicated to the Arabian Horse breed. They founded Conway Arabians to produce the best Arabian and Half-Arabians worldwide through breeding, raising, and training. However, Peter's devotion goes beyond his endeavors, as he actively volunteers his time as the President of the Arabian English Pleasure Association, and serves on numerous committees within the Arabian Horse Association. His interest in horses was sparked by his daughters when they were young, and ever since then, he has been deeply involved in the equine world. Peter's favorite aspect of his involvement is breeding, foaling, and watching the horses grow, and he constantly strives to learn more about everything equine-related.

Lori is an Arabian horse judge with over 40 years of experience and has adjudicated in several prestigious competitions, including the United States Nationals, numerous Regional Championship shows, the Canadian Nationals, and events overseas in Argentina and Brazil. Her passion for judging started in her youth through 4-H and further developed as she competed in the breed divisions, where she received several accolades.

At the Arabian Professional and Amateur Horsemen Awards 2018, Peter and Lori were honored with the esteemed Breeder of the Year Award. In addition, Coltrane received recognition as Saddle Seat Horse of the Year, while Maybelline CA was named Half Arabian Specialty Horse of the Year.

Throughout the years, Conway Arabians has garnered multiple accolades, such as being named the Minnesota Medallion Stallion Futurity Breeder and the Leading Breeder of National Hunter/Show Hack Winners. They have also been recognized as the second leading owners of National English Pleasure winners and the second overall leading owner of National Hunter/Show Hack winners.
